To meet primarily captive power requirement of SAIL, NSPCL commissioned 2X250 MW coal fired Bhilai Expansion power plant. From the plant, NSPCL is supplying balance power to the beneficiaries in the western region. Both the units have been commissioned during 2008-09 and commercialized during 2009-10. The plant achieved 100% PLF and Availability Factor during March 10.
