QUALIFYING REQUIREMENTS
 

01.  

Maintenance contract for Ash Handling System.

  1.

The agency should have valid P.F. Registration number and complied with other necessary statutory requirement.

  2.
The bidder should have an average annual turnover during the last 3 years ending 31st march of the previous financial year, not less than Rs. 44.3 Lacs.
  3.
The Bidder should have executed Erection and Commissioning of Ash Handling System / routine Mechanical Maintenance work / Overhauling of Mechanical nature in a thermal power plant during last seven years, ending last day of the month previous to the one in which bids are invited of the following value:-
   
Single Order having a value not less than Rs. 35.44 Lakh.
 

OR

Two Orders having a value not less than Rs. 22.15 Lakh each.
 

OR

Three Orders having a value not less than Rs. 17.72 Lakh each.
Notes :   The executed values should correspond to a period of 12 months for contracts of more than 12 months period.
 
02.  Manual unloading of coal from BOXN wagon in Track Hopper
  1.

The agency should have valid P.F. Registration number.

  2.
The Bidder should have an average annual turnover during the last 3 years ending 31st March of the previous financial year, not less than Rs. 1.74 Crore
  3.
The Bidder should have executed work of unloading of coal/mineral from RLY wagons for a minimum period of 06 (Six) month during last five years, ending last day of the month previous to the one in which bids are invited of the following value:-
   
Single Order having a value not less than 69.6 Lakhs.
 

OR

Two Orders having a value not less than 43.48 Lakhs each.
 

OR

Three Orders having a value not less than 34.8 Lakhs each
Notes :   The executed values as required above should correspond to a period of 06 months.
     
03. Operation & Maintenance contract of A/C System
 

The qualifying requirement will be as mentioned below :

  1.
The Party must have executed operation and maintenance of AC System of capacity minimum 30 TR of single compressor in a single contract in last seven years for a minimum period of 12 months.
  2.
The party should have valid P.F. code
  3.
Towards experience of having successfully completed similar works for a minimum duration of 12 months during last seven years, ending last day of the month prior to the month in which bids are invited:
   
Single order amounting to Rs. 25.27 Lacs.
 

OR

Two orders each amounting to Rs. 15.79 Lacs.
 

OR

Three orders each amounting to Rs. 12.63 Lacs.
  4. Bidder’s average annual financial turnover during the last three years ending last financial year should be at least Rs. 31.58 Lacs.
Note :  
Similar works means – The Party must have worked in air/water cooled reciprocating/screw compressor chilled water/direct expansion air conditioning System.
The value contracts mentioned should correspond to a period of one year.
     
04. Rate Contract for maintenance of Wagon Tippler, Side Arm Charger, Radial Stacker & Reclaimer and Associated systems in CHP.
  1.

The agency should have valid P.F. Registration number.

  2.
The Bidder should have an average annual turnover during the last 3 years ending 31st March of the previous financial year, not less than Rs. 25.64 lakh.
  3.
The Bidder should have executed work of CHP maintenance of power plant of minimum 200 MW capacity for a minimum duration of 12 months during last seven years, ending last day of the month previous to the one in which bids are invited of the following value:-
   
Single Order having a value not less than 20.51 Lakhs.
 

OR

Two Orders having a value not less than 12.82 Lakhs each.
 

OR

Three Orders having a value not less than 10.26 Lakhs each.
Note :   The values of work should correspond to a period of 12 months.
     
05.

Construction of CC Pavement in Service Road at NSPCL Township.

  1.0

The Bidder who wish to participated in the bidding shall satisfactorily establish that they fulfil the following qualifying requirement.

  1.1

The average annual turnover of the bidder, in the preceding three (03) financial years as on the date of bid opening shall not be less than Rs. 172 lacs (Rupees One Hundred Seventy Two lakh only).

  1.2
The Bidder should have executed either of the following similar works within preceding (07) years reckoned as on the date of bid opening.
   
(A)
Three similar completed work costing not less than the amount equal to Rs. 22.93 lacs.
 

OR

(B)
Two similar completed work costing not less than the amount equal to Rs. 28.66 lacs.
 

OR

(C) One similar completed work costing not less than the amount equal to Rs. 45.86 lacs.
Note :  
a.
Completed Similar works means : The completed works comprising of Building Civil works (e.g. Load bearing or RCC framed structure involving RCC and Cement Concrete work), CC pavement work. The work should have been completed as on the date of bid opening.
     
06. Balance Road Work in NSPCL Township.
 
The Bidder who wish to participate in the bidding shall satisfactorily establish that they fulfill the following qualifying requirement.
  1.
The average annual turnover of the bidder, in the preceding three (03) financial years as on the date of bid opening shall not be less than Rs. 441 lacs (Rupees Four Hundred Forty one lacs only).
  2.
The Bidder should have executed either of the following similar works within preceding (07) years reckoned as on the date of bid opening.
   
a)
Three similar completed works costing not less than the amount equal to Rs. 58.81 lacs.
 

 

b)
Two similar completed works costing not less than the amount equal to Rs. 73.51 lacs.
 

 

c) One similar completed works costing not less than the amount equal to Rs. 117.62 lacs.
  3. Bidder should have valid P.F code.

Note :  
b).
“Similar works” means : Road work involving WBM, BM and Carpeting work.
c).
Completed works means : The executed/completed portion of BOQ, even if the work has not been completed in totality (subject to furnishing of proof of executed work).
     
07.

Procurement of Power Cable 33 KV (E).

  1.
The bidder should have experience in manufacture of 33KV (E), 3C x 120 sqmm, aluminium conductor, XLPE armourd Cable.
  2.
The bidder should have supplied the 33KV (E), 3C x 120 sqmm, aluminium, XLPE armourd Cable to various PSU, Govt. / Semi Govt. Organizations, reputed organization, during last five years ending last date of the month previous to the NIT publication date of the following values.
   
a)
Single order having value not less than Rs. 25.85 Lakh.
 

OR

b)
Two orders having value not less than Rs. 16.16 Lakh.
 

OR

c) Three orders having value not less than Rs. 12.92 Lakh.
  3.
The bidder should have an average annual financial turnover of not less than Rs. 64.62 Lakh during the last three financial years ending 31st March of the previous financial year.
     
08. Procurement of Admiralty Brass Tubes for Condenser
  The bidders who wish to participate in the bidding shall satisfactorily establish that they fulfil the following Qualifying Requirements.
  1.0
The average annual turnover of the bidder, in the preceding three (03) financial years as on the date of bid opening shall not be less than Rs.185 lakh.
  2.0 Experience of having successfully completing the similar works/ supplies within preceding Seven (07) years reckoned as on the date of Bid Opening, should be either of the following:
   
(A)
Three similar completed works/ supplies each costing not less than the amount equal to Rs. 36.9 Lakh.
 

 

(B)
Two similar completed works/ supplies each costing not less than the amount equal to Rs. 46.15 Lakh.
 

 

(C) One similar completed works/ supplies costing not less than the amount equal to Rs. 73.8 Lakh.
Note :  

“Similar Works” means:  Supply of tempered and annealed admiralty brass tubes manufactured by tube drawing method.

     
09.

Supply of Grinding Rolls for Bowl Mill XRS-603

 

The bidders who wish to participate in the bidding shall satisfactorily establish that they fulfil the following Qualifying Requirements.

  1.0
The average annual turnover of the bidder, in the preceding three (03) financial years as on date of bid opening shall not be less than Rs.180.36 lakh.
  2.0
Experience of having successfully completing the similar works/Purchase within preceding seven (07) years reckoned as on date of Bid Opening, should be either of the following.
   
A.
Three similar completed works/purchase each costing not less than the amount equal to Rs. 24.048 Lakh.
 

 

B.
Two similar completed works/purchase each costing not less than the amount equal to Rs. 30.06 Lakh.
 

 

C. One similar completed works/purchase costing not less than the amount equal to Rs. 48.096 Lakh.
NOTE:  

“Similar Works” means:  Supply of Bi-Metallic Grinding Rolls of size 27 Inches and above manufactured by Centrifugal casting method.

     

NIT Conditions

  1.
Bid documents will be issued to all the parties on their request (cost of tender document to be made by a crossed demand draft / pay order / banker's cheque in favour of NSPCL payable at Bhilai) for issue of bid documents without prima-facie examination of their qualification status. However, issue of bid documents shall not mean that bidders are considered qualified. Tender document fee will not be refunded. Request for tender documents received after the last date as mentioned above due to delays postal/courier services shall not be entertained.
  2.
Complete set of bidding documents are also available on NTPC website www.ntpctender.com prospective bidders can down load the same for submission of bids after tendering the cost of bidding documents directly on the website.
  3.
NSPCL reserves the right to reject any or all bids or cancel / withdraw the Invitation for bids without assigning any reason whatsoever and in such case no bidder / intending bidder shall have any claim arising out of such action.
  4.
Agencies are advised to visit the site to familiarize themselves with the nature of work and the site conditions.
  5.
Small-scale industries registered with NSIC shall be exempted for payment of EMD provided the certificate is related to the subject work only, and the quoted value is within the monetary limit for the said unit set by NSIC.

(Subject to submission of copy of registration giving details, such as validity, monetary limit, etc.)
  6.
If the last date of receiving application and date of bid opening coincide with a holiday, the date will be shifted to the next working day.
